This Policy applies to any automated, programmatic, and non-human access to the Vermont Information Processing, Inc. (“VIP”) beverage distribution management software platform, applications, websites, related services, and integrations (collectively, the “Platform”).
You may only access the Platform, including via Approved Automated Methods, if you have an agreement in place with VIP that authorizes your access. This Policy is part of your agreement with VIP.

Permitted Automated Access. Automated access is permitted only under the following conditions:
- You have an agreement in place with VIP that authorizes your access to the Platform
- You use automated or non-human access to the Platform that VIP provides, documents, or expressly enables or approves, including APIs, SDKs, CLIs, webhooks, data connectors, and similar interfaces (“Approved Automated Methods”)
- You comply with the terms of your agreement (including this Policy) and any additional access and use restrictions provided by VIP in connection with any particular Approved Automated Method
- Your use case does not qualify as a Prohibited Automated Access described below
For clarity, not all applications offered via the Platform include Approved Automated Methods to access the applications.
Prohibited Automated Access. The following are not permitted under any circumstances:
- Unauthorized Data Extraction:
- Use of automated bots, spiders, crawlers, or other methods to access the Platform outside of Approved Automated Methods
- Mirroring or replicating any portion of the Platform
- Security Violations:
- Any automated attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform (e.g., credential stuffing, brute-force login attempts)
- Automated vulnerability scanning or penetration testing without VIP’s written permission
- Any attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent Platform security or access controls
- Platform Abuse:
- Generating traffic volumes that degrade Platform performance for other users
- Automated creation of fake accounts or submission of spam or fraudulent data
- Distributing requests across multiple accounts or IP addresses to circumvent rate limits
- AI and Data Misuse:
- Using Platform data, outputs, or functionality, directly or indirectly, to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI or machine learning models without VIP’s prior written consent
- Deploying AI agents that take autonomous action on behalf of users without VIP’s prior written consent
Approved Automated Method Credentials. Certain Approved Automated Methods include access credentials (e.g., API keys, tokens) that are tied to your account and may not be shared across accounts, embedded or otherwise disclosed in publicly accessible code, or published in public repositories. If you believe your access credentials have been compromised, revoke them immediately and notify VIP.
Enforcement. VIP monitors the Platform for abuse and Policy violations. If VIP detects non-compliant automated access, it may throttle or block the offending account(s). VIP will endeavor to provide notice before taking this action unless VIP determines that immediate action is needed to protect the Platform.
Changes to this Policy. VIP may update this Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform following any such updates will constitute your acceptance of the revised Policy.
